The End Times is here!
That is, the Warhammer: Age of Sigmar End Times Battletome, written and edited by Alexander Nygård. The unofficial battletome features more than 100 photos of painted models, all on round bases. More than 50 different AoS fans have contributed to the project. Although the tome is released digitally, it has 49 battleplans, 5 campaigns, time of war rules, and 150 pages of beautiful content. This is no simple event player’s pack, this is The End Times!

We’re excited about this release because Alexander, one of the original members of the NEO Network, has been working on this project for 2 years, to reinterpret the Warhammer: End Times books and scenarios to work with the Age of Sigmar game system. And the contributions from so many in the AoS community to help make this such an impressive release demonstrates a true community effort.
You can hear Alexander talk about this project on the latest episode of Fjordhammer.
Congratulations, Alexander, on completing this project!
As an added bonus, we’ll be hosting the Battletome, right here! There’s a multitude of files available to suit your needs.
Download: Battletome The End Times
This is the main file itself. 150 pages, all 49 battleplans and endless content. If you want the full package, this really is for you. It contains the Mighty Battles campaign system and all five End Times tome in a complete package.
Download: Mighty Battles Campaign System
Mighty Battles is a campaign system for two players, designed to be played across a single day, weekend or a couple of club nights. If you’ve ever played a campaign that just died a slow death, you know how frustrating that can be. Mighty Battles is here to allow you and an opponent to string your battles together in a simple structure, add some narrative details, and finish the story in a reasonable amount of time! Included is a guide on how to design your own Mighty Battles campaigns. Finally, all 5 End Times campaigns are also packaged in, giving you plenty of content right off the bat!
Download: Battletome Nagash
The Tome that started it all! Battletome Nagash follows the story of his resurrection all the way until he crushes the kingdom of Nehekhara. We were shook to our core when this dropped on the Old World. Little did we know how true the tagline would ring. This is the longest tome in the project, featuring 21 battleplans. It also includes the two Times of War “Haunted Battlegrounds” and “Darkest Depths” as well as the Mighty Battles campaign “The Rise of Nagash”.
Download: Battletome Glottkin
Chaos marches on the Empire. This is the seminal appearance of the Glottkin, a trio who would return again and again to plague the Mortal Realms. Where Nagash focused on the Undead, this tome is set squarely in the Empire, with Karl Franz taking center stage. Among the shorter tomes, it contains 6 battleplans for your to play. In addition, it has the “Chaos Ascendant” and “Streets of Death” Time of War rules and the “Conquest of the Tentacle Lord” Mighty Battles campaign.
Download: Battletome Khaine
Khaine is the Elf-focused battletome, before they were known as Aelfs. This was the turning points in more ways than one, as the massive conflict between the High Elves and Dark Elves was resolved, and the enigmatic Wood Elves were brought back into the fold. For many, this was also the realization that End Times means End Times, their tears mixing with the waves washing over Ulthuan… This is another shorter battletome with another 7 battleplans. It contains a single Time of War, “The Great Vortex Weakens” and a Mighty Battles campaign, “The Return”.
Download: Battletome Thanquol
Though the beginning of the end was long past gone, this was the true event horizon. The Skaven unleash their endless hordes, and the empires of Dwarfs and Lizardmen fall. There would be no coming back from this. Here you will find 6 battleplans detailing the fall of Lizardmen and Dwarfs, as well as Thanquol’s shining moment! The Time of War “Realms of the Lizardmen” is also included, as is the Mighty Battles campaign “The Doom of Belegar”.
Download: Battletome Archaon
The other tomes have merely adopted the End Times. This one was born with it, molded by it. It didn’t see calm times until the Age of Sigmar was already old. This is really where the whole sage ends. Archaon the Everchosen shows why he’s called Lord of the End Times. It contains no Time of War rules, but compensates with 11 battleplans, many of them quite complex. It also has a Mighty Battles campaign, “Plague and Death”, no points for guessing who’s involved in that!
